Nurturing Young Minds Through Exploration and Play At Evergreen Academy Preschool, we are dedicated to fostering a love for learning in children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our mission is to support the development of each child through a balanced approach that combines exploration, play, and guided learning. By implementing the HighScope and Conscious Discipline curriculums, our experienced teachers nurture cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in a safe and engaging environment. Student-Centered Learning We believe in a student-centered approach where each child’s interests drive their learning journey. The HighScope curriculum emphasizes student-lead, hands-on exploration and playful discovery, encouraging children to take an active role in their education. This approach fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Concurrently, Conscious Discipline principles are integrated to support emotional regulation and build positive relationships, ensuring that children develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
